Two of the three people charged in a criminal conspiracy case involving a South Pasadena Farmer's Market vendor pleaded not guilty at their arraignment Thursday, while the vendor's owner awaits her own arraignment Monday.

Eugenie Bloch, 58, and James Stewart, 64, were been ordered to return to court Friday afternoon after entering pleas of not guilty, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. Bail was set at $30,000 for Stewart with special conditions, and Bloch has been released on her own recognizance.

The conspiracy charges stem from the alleged illegal production and sale of unpasteurized goat milk, goat cheese and other products by Healthy Family Farms, which sells eggs and poultry at the South Pasadena Farmer's Market.

Bloch and Stewart join Healthy Family Farms owner Sharon Ann Palmer in a 13-count complaint which includes four conspiracy counts. Bloch is one of Palmer's employees and Stewart runs an allegedly unlicensed market in Venice. Prosecutors also allege that Healthy Family Farms has been operating without a license for milk production since 2007.
