Best Place to Wiggle Your Toes: Rose Bowl Aquatics Center?

OK, this is a challenge: It's National "Wiggle Your Toes Day." Which means we need water in which to wiggle. Water is not so easy to find these days, but there's always:

1. Eaton Canyon. We're talking the lowest waterfall, folks. Don't try the upper falls. Not to put too fine a point on this, but attempting the upper falls is dangerous. If you run into trouble, and many people do every year, best-case scenario, you get a ride on the whirlybird and cost the County thousands of dollars. Worst-case scenario, you fall to your death. No joke; no lie. But the lowest waterfall -- safe and lovely, if we all clean up after ourselves.  If you would like information on hiking trails with waterfall features please contact the Angeles National Forest Headquarters at 626-574-5200..

2. North of Hahamongna, past JPL. Alongside the trail, you'll find a stream. It might be a dry bed for awhile, but keep hiking; you'll strike water, eventually.

3. Rose Bowl Aquatics Center. Here, you can do more than wiggle your toes. Programs include diving, summer camps, fitness, family swims, water polo, and more. Open seven days a week. Call for more info.

4. Here's our weather. Spoiler-alert -- Fantastic.

5. And the traffic.
