Candidates Forum, Farmers' Market, Writing Group

A public forum to meet and ask question of candidates for the Nov. 5 South Pasadena City Council elections is scheduled today, Thursday, Oct. 3, starting at 7 p.m. in the Amedee O. "Dick" Richards, Jr., Council Chambers at City Hall, 1424 Mission St.

2. Farmers' Market

The weekly South Pasadena Farmers' Market will unfold today, Thursday, Oct. 3, at and around the intersection of El Centro Street and Meridian from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come and get your fresh produce and other goodies for the week.

3. Writing group

A bimonthly writing group is scheduled to meet at the Book'em Mysteries bookstore on 1118 Mission St. starting at 7 p.m. The group meets at the bookstore on the first and third Thursdays of every month. Click here to view scheduled book signings at the store.

4. Moon Festival
