2. Farmers' Market
The weekly South Pasadena Farmers' Market will unfold today, Thursday, Oct. 3, at and around the intersection of El Centro Street and Meridian from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come and get your fresh produce and other goodies for the week.

3. Writing group
A bimonthly writing group is scheduled to meet at the Book'em Mysteries bookstore on 1118 Mission St. starting at 7 p.m. The group meets at the bookstore on the first and third Thursdays of every month. Click here to view scheduled book signings at the store.

4. Moon Festival
