The weekly South Pasadena Farmers Market will be held today, Thursday, Jan. 16, at and around the intersection of El Centro Street and Meridian from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. From fresh produce and flowers to food and entertainment, it’s the perfect way to kick start the weekend. 

2. Cultural Heritage Commission meeting

3. Duffy Hudson perform as George Burns and Edgar Allan Poe

Mark your calendars: Actor Duffy Hudson is scheduled to perform as the celebrated American comedian, actor and writer George Burns on Thursday, Jan. 16 at the South Pasadena Library Community Room located at 1115 El Centro St. The show will start at 7 p.m. following a brief annual meeting of the Friends of the South Pasadena Library. On Sunday, Jan. 19, Duffy will impersonate the renowned American poet Edgar Allan Poe in celebration of Poe’s 205th birthday.
