Farmers Market, Library Board Meeting, Holiday Book Sale

1. Farmers Market

The weekly South Pasadena Farmers Market will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 12, at and around the intersection of El Centro Street and Meridian from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. From fresh produce and flowers to food and entertainment, it’s the perfect way to kick start the weekend.

2. Library Board of Trustees meeting

Mark your calendars: The Library Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet today, Thursday, Dec. 12, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Ray Bradbury Conference Room of the South Pasadena Public Library, located at 1100 Oxley St. The meeting is open to members of the public, who should enter the venue through the door on the Diamond Street balcony.

3. Holiday Book Sale

Have you kickstarted your shopping season yet? The South Pasadena Public Library has an excellent book sale underway. Every year, the Friends of the South Pasadena Library sets aside quality books suitable for gift-giving as part of the sale, which began Nov. 25 and ends Dec. 31. The books can be purchased as bargain prices during library hours.
