The City of South Pasadena's annual Halloween Spooktacular is scheduled on Friday, Oct. 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. atOrange Grove Park, located at 815 Mission St., near the Orange Grove Avenue intersection. 2. John Muir film
The South Pasadena Library Community Room will be the venue Friday, Oct. 25, of The Boyhood of John Muir, an award-winning feature-length film based on the adventures of Sierra Club founder and naturalist, conservationist and writer John Muir. The film, free of cost, starts at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
3. Dia de los Muertos arts and culture workshop
A Dia de los Muertos—Day of the Dead—arts and culture workshop is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, at the South Pasadena Arts Center (SPACE), 1506 Mission St., (626) 441-4788.
