Mark your calendars: Two local mystery authors, Ro Ruffalo and Frank Girardot, are scheduled to discuss their books during a free Author Night event in the South Pasadena Library Community Room, 1115 El Centro St., tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 30, starting at 7 p.m. The first author is Ro Ruffalo, a first-time novelist whose “Truly Disturbed: The Upland Murders,” is a swift-paced story about a policewoman who shadows a serial killer. The second author is Frank Girardot, whose scintillating true-crime book, “Name Dropper: Investigating the Clark Rockefeller Mystery,” revolves around Rockefeller impersonator Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, who was sentenced in 2013 to 27 years to life for a murder in San Marino
