This is a periodically scheduled meeting between the city council and the county supervisor—the most recent one was in 2010. Issues of mutual interest are expected to be discussed during the meeting, which generally lasts about an hour. The meeting is open to the public, including for public comment.
3. Sunset Boulevard screening—and William Holden tribute
Mark your calendars: The Oscar-winning 1950 noir film Sunset Boulevard will be screened at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, at the South Pasadena Public Library Community Room, located at 1115 El Centro St. The film has a special place in South Pasadena history because its lead star, William Holden, grew up in South Pas and attended South Pasadena High School.
