Vecinos de South Pasadena Scholarship
It is our pleasure to announce the 2014 Vecinos de South Pasadena Scholarships.
In its service and commitment to the South Pasadena Community, Vecinos de South Pasadena will award 5,000 dollars in scholarships this spring. Vecinos members and supporters have dedicated time and effort to raise funds toward scholarships that support students who have excelled academically as well as those who demonstrate promise but have had financial challenges within our community. As Vecinos, we support all students through advocacy, education and action that inform policy and practice. We celebrate all of the youth in our community and their gifts as we foster their promise toward a vibrant and sustainable future. Through this scholarship, we would like to support Latino students in our and community who sometimes need to be reminded that we believe in their capacities and their promise.
