Candidate to Be Keynote Speaker at South Pasadena Event

The brunch will be held this Saturday.

The National Women’s Political Caucus of Greater Pasadena will hold its Annual Spring Brunch this Saturday at 11 a.m. 

The brunch will be a celebration of mothers, billed as a day to connect, network and celebrate the work and power of women in elected positions.

The Keynote Speaker will be the Honorable Betty Yee who represents the First Board Equalization District and is currently running for California Controller.

The National Women’s Political Caucus is a bipartisan, multicultural grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political field and creating a political power base designed to achieve equality for all women.

About The National Women’s Political Caucus
The NWPC, whose goal is 50/50 by 2020, meaning 50% of all elected and appointed officeholders should be women by the year 2020, was founded by pioneering female leaders Gloria Steinem, Shirley Chisholm, Bella Abzug and Betty Friedan. The Pasadena chapter has over 70 members and has helped to elect scores of local women to office over the past 30 years.
