Inside South Pasadena's E-waste Recycling Drive

A recent e-waste collection at the school district parking lot took in tons of electronic and hazardous waste.

Veolia Environmental Services set up an e-waste collection site at the South Pasadena Unified School District parking lot on Sept. 11, collecting electronic and hazardous waste. That included discarded laptops and computer components that contain lead, as well as old batteries, motor oil and even fluorescent light bulbs, which contain mercury. Watch the video here.
