Parents Unite: Local Mom to Host Diaper Drive

Alisa Padilla is asking locals to donate diapers this holiday season.

One local mom hopes to begin a Southwest Riverside tradition of helping other parents.

Alisa Padilla created "Chicks for Cheeks," a group that will host its first diaper drive on Saturday, Dec. 15.

Padilla said she decided to organize the diaper drive when she discovered food stamps couldn't purchase diapers. The donations will be given to the Temecula Murrieta Rescue Mission, she said.

The diaper drive will take place at the Albertson's on Rancho California Road from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Every post Comment and Truth write are filled with unintentional irony. Truth, another contradiction. You refer to others as "sheep" and, yet, your savior, Jesus, has always called his followers the same. Oops, sorry, allow me to dumb it down for ya, as you have proven, time and time again, you're no Einstein: You call other people sheep. Jesus called YOU (his follower) a sheep.

Alen, I never said that the crooks were on THIS thread. There was a mother/daughter team who were scamming posters a few months ago. Its naive to think that these things don't happen. Its ignorant of you to jump to conclusions and try to put words in my mouth. Its pathetic of you to keep posting under different names loser.........}~)

Hi Alisa. I hope your diaper drive was successful. (I dropped off some diapers in the morning and it looked liked you were getting quite a few donations.)

Thank you for coming and I am pretty sure I know who you are I just was so overwhelmed with our communities generosity that I forgot to ask. Thanks again for the support.
