Does Your Pet Have a Costume?

Grab Fido's fireman hat and fetch the leash: it's time again for South Pasadena's Doggy Day with Cats Too!

Does little Rex look adorable in rabbit ears? Or maybe Fluffy will don a crown for the crowd?

Whatever their preferred attire, bring your favorite four-legged friend to Garfield Park (north section near the tennis courts) on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Doggy Day with Cats Too event.

Families, as well as their dogs and cats, will enjoy a bunch of activities, including a costume contest, arts and crafts, a pet parade around the park, animal blessing, and live music. A variety of food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The city-sponosred event is a great opportunity to discover dog and cat resources in the area. Adoption and rescue agencies, retailers, pet groomers and trainers will be on-site to provide information about the services and products they offer.
