Another successful Parti Gras was held in the Arroyo Saturday.
Residents enjoyed a special visit from helicopter as well as Congressman Adam Schiff Saturday night at (SPEF) annual fundraiser, Parti Gras.
Perfect weather, a wide array of food and dessert and entertainment from Indian dance groups accompanied crowds, who came together to raise thousands of dollars for local schools.
One highlight of the evening was a flyover by the South Pasadena Police Department's helicopter. Its spotlight illuminated the venue to accentuate Joseph Payne's donation to the auction: a flight aboard.

After sampling the gourmet food items and socializing, supporters were able to bid on a variety of items. At the conclusion, many danced the night away among the Arroyo.
