A three-story apartment building was evacuated Sunday after a small portion of the building collapsed.
Rubble fell into what was described as a common walkway to the very rear of the apartment building around 11:51 a.m. at the building located in the 200 block of Monterey Road. Search and rescue crews conducted a search, no injuries were reported, according to South Pasadena Police.
According to scanner reports, a portion of a balcony fell onto the balcony of a lower floor.
Authorities are still on scene and have closed a portion of Monterey Road between Arroyo Verde down to Pasadena Avenue.
