Sen. John McCain Remembers Casino Icon in South Pas
McCain spoke at the memorial service for J. Terrence "Terry" Lanni Friday at Holy Family Church.
More than 1,000 mourners from thoroughbred horse racing, business, education and politics—including Sen. John McCain of Arizona—filled on Friday for a Mass in memory of J. Terrence "Terry" Lanni, Pasadena Star-News reported.
"Going now to speak at the funeral of Terry Lanni, my dear friend and a great family man. RIP," McCain tweeted Friday before the services.
A former top Las Vegas casino executive at Caesar's World and MGM Grand, Lanni, 68, died of cancer July 14 at his home in Pasadena.
