Actor Chris Murray Visits South Pasadena High School

Actor Christopher Murray, son of two-time Emmy Award-winning film and television actress Hope Lange and Academy Award-nominated leading man Don Murray, will visit the SPHS Little Theatre on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. to share stories about his career and famous show-biz family.

Murray’s father made his film debut as Bo in the “Bus Stop” movie with Marilyn Monroe. SPHS presents its production of the play in December.

Murray is one of today’s most recognizable character actors, probably best known as Dean Rivers, the comically inept headmaster of Pacific Coast Academy in the hit Nickelodeon series “Zoey 101.”
