7 p.m. Author Night with Elizabeth Gill Lui, writer and photographer for “Open Hearts, Open Doors: Reflections on China’s Past and Future.”  Chinese music played by Anna Tang. Presented by The South Pasadena Public Library, The Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library,  and The South Pasadena Chinese American Club. Community Room. Free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
