Join us for the Health & Wellness Family Festival at the from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19.
Not only will our farmers be there with the usual hearty helpings of fresh and delicious California-grown produce, but patrons can meet one-on-one with local experts and learn about and live a healthier lifestyle.
This festival is free to the public as part of a effort to make connections for the community and create a strong local economy.

These health care service providers and organizations will have a booth:
- City of South Pasadena Community Services Department: Information and guides on family and children’s activities, healthy parks and recreation facilities in South Pasadena. Free pedometers while supplies last!
- Snap Fitness: This popular key-card access gym located on Meridian Ave. just north of the market will provide body fat testing and wellness assessments.
- Family Chiropractic Center of South Pasadena: Dr. Adrian Pujayana and Dr. Christine Smith have deep roots in the community, and will join us with exercise and massage demonstrations as well as health screenings.
- Skin Rituals: Aesthetician and founder Chach Ontiveras says “Don’t underestimate your epidermis!” Come get a skin analysis and enter to win a 3-day spa pass.
- Right at Home: Health and wellness for seniors is so important, and increasingly complex. Diane Fortner’s company provides senior home care services built around your individual needs.
- Farmers’ Market “Ask the Dietician”: Jessica Handy, RD, will answer your questions about living a healthier lifestyle.
