The South Pasadena Tournament of Roses will hold its 8th annual casino night from 6 to 10 p.m. March 10 at the War Memorial building, located at 435 Fair Oaks Avenue.
This community event helps to raise part of the $85,000 for the city’s float in the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day.
A no-host bar will be available throughout the night. Here are your ticket options:

- Regular tickets are being sold for a $35.00 donation. The price includes admission, a dinner provided by Mama’s Brick Oven, and $100.00 worth of gaming chips.
- Tables for ten are being presold for $350, which includes complimentary wine.
- You can be a part of a VIP Poker Tournament, which is being pre-sold for $100 per seat. There are only a limited number of seats available at the poker tables. Your $100 buy in gives you a seat at the poker table, $1,000 worth of poker tournament chips, two complimentary drink tickets and hors d’oeuvres’. The VIP Poker Tournament will start at 5:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm. There will be poker chip re-buys sold until 6:00 pm. The tournament will end at 7:00 pm. The one player holding the most poker tournament chips is declared the big winner. The (non–cash) prize will be a $ 500.00 merchandise gift card.
The 2013, self-built float represents 122 years of South Pasadena’s floral entry in the annual Rose Parade. This is a huge community supported project bringing together hundreds of adults and youth in the design, construction and decoration of the South Pasadena Float.
