Fremont Centre Theatre presents the musical play, Sweet Mama String Bean, featuring ValLimar and Frank Jansen. This two-person production focuses on the life and accomplishments of blues great and Academy Award nominee Ethel Waters, who paved new roads for black women during the depression. The show includes 14 of Waters's best-known songs, including "Shake that Thing" and "Am I Blue."
Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm, with a special New Year's Eve performance that includes dinner and music on the patio in addition to the show.
