Traffic: Seven Painters Interpret Freeways

Traffic: Freeway Paintings by the Mount Washington Plein Air Painters

Seven local painters present new works that respond to the visual environment of Southern California's freeways. Starting with the everyday experience of millions of commuters, the works portray the artists' responses to both the beauty and the dysfunction of freeways, spurring appreciation, reflection, and critique.

The show features oil and watercolor paintings by Diane Behrens, John Byram, Ann Dudrow, Roderick Smith, Kevin Spitze, Richard Willson, and Donna Wolff.
