Nine private homes and one restaurant were all winners of a 2011 Golden Arrow Award administered by South Pasadena Beautiful. The award is given to the owners of gardens that have significantly enhanced neighborhoods, said committee chair Carol McCrary. In addition to the superior landscaping, all of the properties demonstrate an awareness of water conservation.
Golden Arrow stakes are now planted in the front of winners' properties and will be displayed until June 8. All 10 honorees will be recognized at the organization’s annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the on that day.
