PHOTOS: Fremont Theatre's South of Delancey

A glimpse into a local play written by a local resident.

For the first time ever, is hosting a play written by a South Pas local. Resident Karen Sommers has been working on the playwright of for the past 10 years, according to Fremont Theatre Artistic and Managing Director Lissa Reynolds. 

The play cronicles the first reality show—on the radio not TV—and takes place on the streets of New York City in 1940. To hear the original 1940-broadcasts included in the play, visit Yiddish Radio Project

Reynolds says tickets to the play at Fremont Theatre are quickly selling out. It is running until June 26. To purchase tickets, click HERE
