Downtown Redevelopment Project Could Still Move Forward

Although the city has put Community Redevelopment Commission meetings on hold, the developer may have enough resources.

Although City staff uncertainty regarding the future of redevelopment, the absence of the redevelopment agency shouldn't have a huge impact on South Pasadena's Downtown Redevelopment Project, Pasadena Star-News reports. 

"The developer may have what they need if we provide the property and turn over the entitlements," Assistant City Manager Sergio Gonzalez told the Star-News. "It depends on what kind of negotiation we have the developer may have all they need and be fine with that."
