PASADENA GOES PINK WITH CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN AND PASADENA’S FIRE FIGHTERS

California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) has partnered with the City of Pasadena Fire Department for Pasadena Goes Pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From October 8th – 13th, CPK employees and Pasadena fire fighters will sport pink t-shirts to show their support for the cause. All day on Thursday, October 11th, for every guest who arrives at CPK with the flyer distributed by the fire department’s team (also available for download at http://www.facebook.com/pasadena.pink in the photo section), CPK will donate 20% of their check directly to Pasadena’s Huntington Hill Breast Cancer Center. The Pasadena fire fighters will also be on hand helping out the CPK staff - in uniform! - to serve and greet guests to raise funds the organization from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The Fire Department will set up shop in front of CPK to sell their pink shirts alongside their fire trucks. Those funds will also be donated to the Huntington Hill Breast Cancer Center.

ABOUT HUNTINGTON HILL BREAST CANCER CENTER


Huntington-Hill Breast Center is located in the Huntington Pavilion, adjacent to Huntington Hospital.  The center features a team of female radiologists and state-of-the art imaging technology in a beautiful, spa-like setting.  Designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology, the radiologists at Huntington-Hill Breast Center have demonstrated excellence in breast imaging including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy. A serene color palette, soothing water elements and beautiful décor create a warm, healing environment. Private changing rooms and spa-robes ensure women are as comfortable as possible in this spacious setting.  Services include:  screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast biopsy and osteoporosis screening. When indicated, breast MRI, CT and PET scanning are conveniently available next door at Huntington-Hill Imaging Center.  Registered nurse navigators, an oncology dietitian and symptom management specialists are also available to assist patients through every aspect of their treatment.
