Fancy Food Truck Friday Canceled Due to Rain

This Friday’s edition of the monthly outdoor event held at Webster’s Community Pharmacy will not happen, but you can still drop off toys in their Toys for Tots box.

Fall has finally arrived and brought rain with it. But with that, comes inconvenience for outdoor events.

The monthly Fancy Food Truck Friday event held outside Webster’s Community Pharmacy, where gourmet food trucks and Danny’s Farm animals were slated to appear, has been cancelled due to predicted rain.

The National Weather Service predicts rain for Altadena continuing into Veteran’s Day weekend.

Webster’s is still the TOYS FOR TOTS exclusive drop-off center, however, so they are still accepting toys for their box, rain or shine. Bring in an unwrapped toy and receive a 25 percent off coupon good through Nov. 24.

How has the rain affected you? Do you see it as a good thing or an inconvenience?

I didn't even realize Food Truck Friday was still happening, thought it was done for the season for some reason. : (
