From an art show to a dress sale, here's what's going on in South Pas today.

*Correction: The Veteran Art Show will kick off July 3 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is not yet up at SPACE. 

1. Veteran Art Show at

Various artwork will be shown at SPACE to raise money for U.S. Veterans and bring awareness to Veterans Affairs. Proceeds from the sale will go to an individual veteran or a veterans service organization of the artist's choice. Artwork is not limited to just paintings. It can include photographs, ceramics, written poetry, etc.

2. Fun and Fundraising 

Residents can expect a variety of foods from local restaurateurs and a night of dancing at South Pasadena Education Foundation's annual event, Parti Gras. The event, which annually raises thousands of dollars towards South Pas schools, will be held at  at 7 p.m.

3. Dress Sale at

Camille will hold from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m featuring discounted evening wear. "It will be a wedding dress, evening dress and possible prom dress sale," said DePedrini. "We'll have informal modeling and a lot of things that haven't even been on the floor yet." 

4. Dipping Sauce at

It's not just BBQ and Sweet 'n Sour anymore. If you're looking for some food on-the-go, swing by McDonald's and try out one of their four new dipping sauces: Honey Mustard, Creamy Ranch, Sweet Chili and Spicy Buffalo. Yum. 

5. Comic Opera at

The Blur or How to Marry a Billionaire will debut as a Public Reading at 7 p.m. in the . The play, which was written by a Mount Washington resident Wing Healey, mixes sexy secretaries, amenable boy toys and machine guns at a lost Mayan temple. “I want to make operas about our world today that touch a nerve,” Healey told Patch.
