South Pas Business Makes Top 500 List

John Echeveste and Patricia Perez of VPE Public Relations made 'Hispanic Business' Magazine's list of the largest U.S.-Hispanic owned companies.

Hispanic Business Magazine released its list of the largest 500 U.S.-Hispanic owned companies this week, and South Pasadena's  made the cut at number 473.

The company reported $1.48 million in revenue during 2011. It was founded in 1988 and provides public relations services to the national Hispanic market. John Echeveste and Patricia Perez serve as CEOs; VPE has 12 employees.

In neighboring San Marino,   made the cut at number 467. The company reported $1.76 million in revenue during 2011. Paul Argueta is the CEO, and the brokers employed by Real Estate Heaven are reportedly fluent in six different languages including Spanish, Korean, Chinese and Armenian.

The top spot on the list went to Brightstar Corp. of Miami, FL with a 2011 revenue of $5.70 billion. Brightstar has 4,114 employees.
