Two television series and two commercials filmed in South Pasadena last week.
The Newsroom, starring Jeff Daniels, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for best actor in a drama series, shot scenes on Mission Street between Meridian and Diamond avenues, according to the city's film liaison Joan Aguado. The filming took place on Feb. 4.
Also shot on Feb. 4 was a commercial for Bank of America. The production company filmed in the 1500 block of Milan and Garfield Park.
Another television series, Save Me, filmed Thursday on Highland Street. The comedy stars Anne Heche as a woman who after nearly choking to death, becomes a direct pipeline to God.
A second commercial, Friskies, shot Thursday and Friday in the 1400 block of Laurel Street.
