Patch Blog: What's On Your Bucket List?

Do you have a Bucket List? I sure do!

If you are unaware of what a Bucket List is, it’s simply a list accumulated with things you want to do before you die. I started one when I began writing my blog, Photography+Science=Chanel, about a year and half ago.

My Bucket List can be found here at this link: Chanel’s Bucket List. But here are a couple things that I list:

1. Visit the Galapagos Islands- and swim with all the amazing creatures there- possibly go on one of the National Geographic boat trips!
2. Zip-line through a forest
3. Backpack through Europe
4. Go to the Olympics
5. See the Northern Lights
6. Buy a rescued dog/puppy

Who knew that writing a Bucket List would have me entered in a contest to win the #1 item: TO GO SKYDIVING!

A blog entitled: Bucket List Publications, launched a contest a couple weeks ago for people to win a SkyDiving Adventure Package in San Diego, CA. The package includes:

• Pre-jump instructional class
• One tandem jump harnessed to a professional Instructor
• A scenic 5 to 7 minute parachute flight
• A First Jump Certificate
• Deluxe Video and Stills 

To enter, all I had to do was write an e-mail to the editor of Bucket List Publications, describing why I should win this prize. Well low and behold, I made the top 15 finalists out of 200 plus submissions! You can find what I wrote on my submission letter to the editor HERE.

That is where I need some assistance from all you fantastic readers.

I really don’t like asking people to do stuff for me, but under the circumstances it’s what I must do. In order to win the SkyDiving Adventure Package, I now need to get the most social media likes/tweets/shares/etc on my finalist submission page.

There are multiple buttons on my page—you just click whichever social media outlets pertain to you. It’s SIMPLE, EASY, AND NO HASSLE. “Voting” ends at 5 p.m. March 12.
