Dadmissions: A Valentine Letter to My Girls
Before he takes them to prom, walks them down the aisle, or does other grown-up stuff, the South Pasadena blogger would just like to be his daughters' valentine.
A letter from Dadmissions to his daughters:
Dear Alicia and Andreya,
I am writing today to ask if you would be my Valentine.
It's hard to believe you are growing up so fast and while in my heart you'll always be Daddy's little girls, I know in reality that you won't be little forever.
So I am writing today to ask if you would be my Valentine.
Two young girls with your entire lives ahead of you. I can't wait to see where your dreams take you. The sky really is the limit.
So I am writing today to ask if you would be my Valentine.
Yes one day I'll chaperone your first dance, or even drive you on your first date if you let me, and one day I'll walk you down the aisle, but let's not rush things.
So I am writing today to ask if you would be my Valentine.
Right now I am perfectly content with your hugs and your kisses, your giggles and your tenderness. I am happy with your little drawings, your little nicknames for me, and your beautiful nature inside and out.
So I am writing today to ask if you would be my Valentine.
