Holiday Party at The Dinosaur Farm

• Why you Should Go: Enjoy a glass of champagne, 10 percent off everything in the store, your gifts wrapped for free, and come see who's setting up shop in the back. Plus, a $200 deluxe FOOSBALL table fwill be raffled for free.   

Also Friday, meet the owners of these shops located in the back of The Dinosaur Farm:  

• Bums n' Beyond: That's "bums" as in baby bottoms! Owner, Staysi, will be on hand to show her line of eco-friendly, chic accessories for the hip mom and baby. She'll also be happy to talk to you about the benefits (economic and ecological) of cloth diapering. Bums n' Beyond is located  in the "castle" off the hallway.
• Kidd's Jewelry Heist: Check out what owner, Kelly Kidd, has done to the space in the far back of the store. Kidd's Jewelry Heist will be a "jewelry bar" where kids can sit at a counter and make their own custom jewelry.  There will be jewelry to purchase, but the emphasis will be on creating your own.
• Borboleta (Portugese for butterfly) Decor: The store has actually been located in the Dinosaur Farm for over a year now. Think furniture with Pottery Barn (or better) quality at IKEA prices. Best yet - they can customize the measure- ments to fit your space. Owners Rich and Helena (she's the Brazilian) will be there to answer any questions.  

Last but not least: The Dinosaur Farm is partnering with ChildHelp this holiday season to bring toys to children who have been victims of child abuse and neglect. Look for the big collection box in the store's hallway to donate.
