'Huge' Tree Branch Falls on Meridian and Grevelia

It sounded like a car crash, said neighbors.

A tree limb crashed on Meridian Avenue near Grevalia Street in South Pasadena Wednesday morning.

Did you hear it fall?

It is hard to see the scale in the picture but it was huge.  If our car had been parked under the tree (like sometimes it is) we would have had a crushed roof for sure.

... It really makes me wonder about the rest of the trees and how safe they are. It was not windy at all last night, and it still came crashing down. The noise was really loud, all the neighbors came out of our houses to see what happened. It sounded like a car crash.

Patch Asks: Is there a on your property? Have you had a tree or tree branch fall recently near your home?
