Susan, I'm finding your comments to be more and more confusing as of late. Yes, the meeting is tonight. This event page was created to publicize to the fact that the meeting is taking place tonight. The photo was taken several weeks ago. Unfortunately, I'm unable to post any photos from tonight's meeting as it has yet to take place. Apologies.

No problem. Just asking when the photo was taken. No worries.

The meeting could not proceed, because there wasn't a quorum. That would be one more than half of 19 members, or 10. The whole thing was running late, finally Hector called it to order. He is very good at running the meeting, in a straightforward, business like manner. Monica finally made it, she is a very good president. Land Use was at the top of the agenda, with the same group that represents Burwood residents opposed to a major project on thier street. GK had some very good ideas relating to outreach. Aaron gave a good report on the toy give away, which was successfully accomplished under budget. The same Agenda Items will be taken up at the next meeting, providing enough members show for a qorum.

This week's NC Meeting is one people shouldn't miss. There will be a presentation on the Transit Village Development, a project 8 yrs in the planning... There will be a meeting of opponents of this development the morning before the NC Meeting, at Las Conzuelas Resturant on N. Fig. CD1 candidate Jesse Rojas is spear heading this effort... Don't forget, there's the CD1 Candidates Forum on Tuesday, Franklin High... Unfortunately the last 2 NC Meetings were canceled, for lack of quorum. There wasn't a Land Use Meeting this month either, as Tom Williams stepped down from chairing the commitee, and Alex, 2nd Vice President is taking over. The big issue there is still the proposed Burwood Development, which is opposed by the LU Commitee... Please try to make these meetings, and voice your feelings, and opinions. The newly elected board would like to know the concerns of the community, so they can serve us better...
