The South Pasadena PTA Council Special Needs Committee and the South Pasadena Unified School District are presenting an educational conference at South Pasadena High School on Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 8 am - 4 pm, entitled "Reaching All Students ... Do You Believe in Me?" We are honored to welcome Joey Travolta from Inclusion Films as the keynote speaker. Mr. Travolta will discuss his passion for working with individuals with special needs and teaching them about production and film making. Parents, educators, professionals, and administrators will also learn from experts about recent research and strategies for addressing a variety of special needs issues, including: behavior, inclusion, life skills, medication, social skills, technology, and transition to adulthood. We are also excited to present a Brown Bag Lunch Question and Answer Panel comprised of special needs students, parents, and educators. Please join us to network, collaborate, and learn about finding and strengthening the abilities of special needs students.This conference is provided to the community free of charge.
