The War Memorial Building was built in 1921, as a way to commemorate veterans, specifically of WWI. Ironically, this building’s name, “War”, reminds me, that we are “at war” on a spiritual level, against drugs, drinking, loneliness, and a host of other social ailments. Jesus said , “24 “whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock”. Join me as we begin to build up our spiritual house upon an unshakable foundation through the systematic teaching of the Word of God.
