Photos: Mama Bear and Cub Chow Down in Monrovia Tree

A mother bear and her cub feasted on fruit in a backyard tree on Ridgeside Drive Thursday.

A mama bear and her cub climbed a tree in the 800 block of Ridgeside Drive Thursday afternoon and chowed down.

"This mama bear and her young cub stopped by and spent about a half hour hanging out and eating in a tree in my backyard before climbing down and scampering off back into the wilderness," reader Tim Macias wrote in an email.

Thanks to Tim Macias for sharing these great photos.
