Consider this our official hello! We are a new music school that just moved in on Fremont Avenue and we couldn’t be more excited to be in South Pasadena. Since opening our doors one month ago we’ve already met so many wonderful people in the community. And then we thought ‘what better way to truly immerse ourselves than to start writing a blog on the South Pasadena Patch?!’ And so, as told in the stories of yore, it was on this day, the twenty fourth of October in the year of two thousand and thirteen that Green Brooms Academy started writing a blog.
Okay, enough of that. We really just wanted to introduce ourselves and inform you/warn you/maybe get you excited that we will now be contributing to the Patch. We’ll mostly be posting about music related items but may swerve our attention to other areas from time to time--like what the latest ArcLight Presents movie is or how delicious the pumpkin-flavored bolani was at the Farmer’s Market last Thursday. No really, it was DELICIOUS. But let us save the food binge for another day.
For now, I invite you to come check out our new location and enjoy some tea or coffee with our front desk staff. (It’s actually one girl and she’s promised to regale you of tales about, well, whatever you’d like to be regaled about.)
