Bonnie Marie Baumann Timpson Dies at 74

Bonnie Marie Baumann Timpson had attended South Pasadena High School

Bonnie Marie Baumann Timpson left this earth on the wings of angels on May 30, 2014 due to complications of diabetes. She was born April 16, 1940 to Ernest and Verla (Gonzer) Baumann in Los Angles, Calif. Bonnie’s mother passed when she was 6 and was fortunate to have several loving mothers, Elva and Mae. 

She was active in sports and student body at South Pasadena High School and was president of the Anitas.  

She wed Warren R. Timpson on August 27, 1958 and had five beautiful children. Bonnie’s life revolved around her children and her church. Later, she went back to college and became a Registered Nurse.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Verla Baumann, Elva Baumann and Warren Timpson.  She is survived by mother Mae Baumann; brother Bob Baumann and Maribeth; son Robert Timpson; and four daughters, Robin Smith, Kelly Habersetzer and Gary, Karen Patin and Tim, and Rebecca Sebenius; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Her pleasing personality, kindness and sympathetic understanding endeared her to the hearts of everyone.  Many people have called her “Mom” as she would love to talk about art and sciences, as well as sharing her passion for world travel.   

Services will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 10 a.m. at the LDS Church at 527 9th St. in Ramona, CA.  Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 17 at 11:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 1712 S. Glendale Ave in Glendale, CA.

Bonnie greatly appreciated and supported our military servicemen and their families.  In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the WoundedWarriorsProject.org.
