Community Update

I am a fairly recent transplant to South Pasadena. I noticed recently that there might be a transient encampment at the unused exit ramp on south bound 110 at Fair Oaks. As new to the area, I am wondering what might be the stance of the community for such issue as I noticed also a sudden surge of those encampments near the arroyo seco golf course next to 110 as well. Without trying to sound too harsh, I think it would be in the interest of both the resident as well as those living in the encampments to find a more suitable habitat (better sanitation, shelter, security, etc.). I am wondering if this issue have ever been considered within the community.
