IS FIREPLACE BURNING THE NEW ALARMISM, OR FACT? The EPA is on a roll, with the Obama administration. It is known now that the EPA waited until Obama won re-election in 2012 before bringing out a whole new set of regulations. No more wood burning stoves, among other things are happening. I am trying to learn what I can about the danger of fireplace smoke, and am just starting. If anyone has actual data, computer models and such, let me know. I went to the EPA site and can't find the "computer model" they use. I have read some articles, and just some of the same lines going around.
