Big Rig Overtuns on 210 Freeway, Driver Suffers Minor Injuries

The lanes were reopened shortly before rush hour on Tuesday morning.

A big rig driver suffered minor injuries today when his vehicle overturned on the transition lanes between sections of the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena, authorities said.

The big rig overturned around 1:15 a.m. according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident caused SIG alerts to be declared for both the westbound 210 transition lanes and the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway transition lanes to the westbound 210.

The lanes were reopened shortly before 6 a.m., said CHP Officer Monica Posada. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
