Bus Attacked on 110 Highway

Unknown object or objects struck the empty bus.

An empty Metro bus had two windows shattered and another three cracked after being struck by an unknown object or objects on the Harbor (110) Freeway, authorities said today.

The bus driver reported hearing some noises, and then the passenger side windows shattered, said  Lt. Chris Mouat of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Transit Services Bureau.

Three other windows were also cracked, Mouat said, describing the incident as "some sort of vandalism".
