Holy Family Brings Toys to 600 Tots

Holy Family handed out tons of toys to needy kids Monday with the help of donors at their annual event.

gave out tons of toys to 600 grateful area kids Monday. Meanwhile, their parents received holiday gift bags containing food. 

Aided by Santa and a corps of volunteers, event chairperson Carrie Lu Sue guided the successful annual event. Police officers from South Pasadena and El Monte Police Departments volunteered their services.

Students from nearby schools were also involved as volunteers. Gifts were donated by generous benefactors as well by the church organization. The giveaway started at 8 a.m., but families were lined up by the hundreds well before daybreak.
