Event Highlight: Police & Fire Open House

Parents can learn about Internet safety while kids hop aboard one of the many fire engines on display.

Helicopters, taser demonstrations and digital fingerprinting. These are just a few of the events you can expect at the and open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Parents can learn about Internet safety while kids hop aboard one of the many fire engines on display. Meanwhile, teenagers can test their driving skills with the impaired driving course.

Police and Fire Department Tours will take place continuously throughout the day. But here's a list of tentative times for helicopter landings and special demonstrations:

10:00 a.m. Opening ceremonies, L.A. County Fire fly-over

10:10 a.m. First helicopter landing by L.A. County Fire; departs at noon.

11:00 a.m. K-9 Demo (Performed at back of )

11:30 a.m. FBI Alumni Association presents "Cyber Safety" presentation for parents at

Noon Second helicopter landing by U.S. Coast Guard; departs 1:30 p.m. 

12:30 p.m. Demo performed at back of Fire Department.

1:00 p.m. South Pasaden Fire Demo performed at back of Fire Department.

1:30 p.m. Third helicopter landing by Pasadena Police Department; departs 3 p.m.

3:00 p.m. Closing of open house.
