Watch Burglar Smash into Arco Gas Station (Video)

The thief smashed the glass door at the Arco Station at Mission Street and Orange Grove Avenue, and grabbed a pack of smokes after stealing coins and cash.

An unidentified man wearing a tightly pulled hoodie, used a hammer to shatter a glass door at the Arco Station on Mission Street before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash and coins.

According to a South Pasadena Police crime bulletin, the man smashed the gas station door at 2:34 a.m. on Black Friday (Nov. 23). He walked to the office and pried open a cabinet containing coins, then emptied the cash register of money before fleeing. The thief was in the gas station for about two minutes, police said.

He is described as 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a thin build, wearing a “Nike” gray colored hooded sweat jacket (with hood covering head and face), black jacket, black pants, black gloves, white sneakers and carrying a black backpack.

The best is that the guy cracks the register in no time but completely struggles to free the cigarettes. Wonder how many times he's done this before, since he knew to pull the hood tight across his face?
