Schools Expected to be in Session Monday

Marengo Elementary is among the South Pas areas still without power.

As of about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Edison shows several South Pas streets without power. 

This includes

"We expect to have the schools up and running for Monday. Power is restored to all [SPUSD schools] but Marengo Elementary," said Police Chief Joe Payne. "Edison tells us they expect to have Marengo up later today."

Edison  that said all customers should have power by Sunday night. 

"The latest information we have received from SCE indicates that 99 percent of their customers will have power restored by Sunday at 8 p.m.,"  commented on Patch. "When that power is restored, it will subsequently relieve many of the issues that the police department are dealing with."
