Jackknifed Big Rig Blocks 210 Freeway for More than 4 Hours

All lanes were reopened by about 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

A jackknifed big rig blocked both westbound transition lanes of the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena for more than four hours today, but no one was hurt, authorities said.

The 3:22 a.m. crash prompted closure of the lanes that connect two sections of the 210 Freeway, where it intersects with the Ventura (134) Freeway.

The circumstances of the single-vehicle crash were under investigation, California Highway Patrol Officer Jennifer Cassidy said.
