Man Steals Mail From Monterey Road Condo Complex

The South Pasadena Police Department is looking for a man who stole mail from a condominium complex on Monterey Road.

At about 2:45 a.m. this past Tuesday, Sept. 24, the suspect entered a secured underground parking garage of the condo complex on the 100 block of Monterey Road by unknown means. He then used a tool to pry open a mailbox located there.

The crime was captured on a video surveillance camera—and the footage can be viewed on the two-minute video attached here.

The suspect is believed to be a 20-year-old to 30-year-old Latino who weighs around 170 pounds and is five feet 10 inches tall, according to a communiqué issued to the media by the police department.

As the video shows, the suspect had an athletic build and was wearing a blue-colored long sleeves shirt, dark grey shorts and black shoes with white laces. He had a pair of white gloves on and was carrying a black bag.
